Money Politics is still occurring in this year’s legislatrive election. Democratic National Party (Nasdem) feels disadvantage with the act of other candidates who disburse money and other goods. 

Sri Nasmiani from Cipinang Asem cited a money disbursement from PAN’s candidate named Pujiastuti in Kebon Pala. He said he saw the disbursement to ten voters, “one of them was my friend, he gained enveloped 50 grand”. Sri said in the Hamdan Zoelva-led hearing.

Besides, Dadan Suherman, from Cipayung also saw disbursement of ambulance, money, and houses necessity to the people to win a candidate Golkar. Same information issued by, Rizal “I saw Golkar, PPP, and Gerinda have done such things” Rizal said.

Self-proclaim

All participating parties claimed on vote violations, both internal and amongst parties. Hanura is the one to argue about the lost votes, as it pleads to MK. 

Restu Rizal Kurniawan, a Hanura’s witness from Tanjung Priok. He admits that Hanura lost 324 votes. “Our team has stated that we lost 324 votes” Restu said.

In pair with Restu, Agus Kustaman from Vila Bekasi Indah also stated error on KPU’s recap over Nasdem candidate Syahroni, “Syahroni only got 50 votes, but it was written 150” he described. Golkar also stated a lost, their witness said Golkar had 96 votes, but it was decreased to zero in the district” Karsiman said.

MK will still give a chance for Related Parties, KPU, and Bawaslu to present another witnesses to testify on Monday, June 2.(Julie/mh)
