Constitutional Court conducted another trial of PHPU, on Wednesday (28/05). The agenda of the trial is hearing session from the Defendant (KPU) and parties which registered to be related parties on PHPU. 

Hamdan Zoelva-led hearing cited MK has received information from related parties, namely National Democratic Party (Nasdem), People’s Conscience Party (Hanura), Party of Functions Group (Golkar), Justices Prosperous Party (PKS), Crescent Star Party (PBB), United Development  Party (PPP), Greater Indonesian Movement Party (Gerindra), Indonesian Unity and Justices Party (PKPI), Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Democratic Party, National Mandate Party (PAN), National Awakening Party (PKB), and Aceh Peace Party (PDA).

Hamdan retained to simplify and expedite the hearing, Applicants may receive written Defendant’s explanation from the Clerks. The explanation will be considered as been read, so it doesn’t need to be recited in the hearing. 

In the session, some parties have participated to invoke their presence as related parties. PKB represented by its attorney, Robikin Emhas has prepared its explanation. PD through its attorney Utomo A Karim, cited that his side will dispatch related role in Papua. Didi Supriyanto, from PAN convinced that his side has prepared fixed documents for the related party as being registered by Golkar, PD, and Hanura..

M. Ichsan, PKS’ attorney stated to file fixed documents over Sultra 3. While PPP, as being stated by Ahmad Leksono, will file fixed documents of Sultra.

Next hearing will be conducted at 07.00 PM, for the interval decision. The session will also contains announcement whether which province and what time will be deliberated on Friday’s session.(Ilham/mh)
