Constitutional Court (MK) arranged hearing session of revised pleading which delivered by Justice and Prosperity Party (PKS) on Monday (26/5). PKS’s attorney, Zainuddin Paru retained that his side have coordinated with MK Clerks to register the revised pleading.

Even so, some improvements are being done while the trial is running. “We represented Central Sulawesi PKS, on Saturday our softcopy was disappeared due to the virus attack. But this is about, God’s predestine, my brother died on Saturday so i can’t print it. May us be allowed to submit the hardcopy by this day” PKS’ attorney, Rio Rama said.    

Some writing errors also found in the document, for instance a file titled Yahukimo 6 shall be written as Yahukimo 2.

767 cases will be deliberated by June, forced MK to maximize times and space in the hearing room. All hearing will be split into 3 panels and each session will be arranged consecutively.

As known, the PKS is represented by its attorney, Zainuddin Paru, on Friday (23/4), filed 43 cases related to legislative elections in 2014. From all these cases, 4 cases associated with the acquisition of votes at the House of Representatives ( Dapil Aceh II, East JavaV, Central Sulawesi I, and North Maluku I) , and 8 cases related to the vote at the party\'s provincial parliament (Electoral district of Aceh V , Riau 1 , South Sumatra 6 , South Sumatra 10 , Bengkulu 3, East Java 5 , Central Sulawesi 6 and South Sulawesi 6 ). Meanwhile, 31 cases that occurred associated with the acquisition of votes at the Regency/City level.


In its claim, the Court declared void invoke PKS and not binding on the Commission Decision No. 411/Kpts/KPU/2014 on the Determination Results of Election of Members of the House of Representatives, Regional Representatives Council, Provincial People\'s Representative Council, Regional Representatives Council and District/City nationally in the General election of 2014 , especially in the areas which elections being held.( Julie / mh )
