One DPD Candidate Declines to Revise His Pleading

Constitutional Courts (MK) arranged follow-through session over PHPU for DPD candidates. 32 candidates plead to MK, but some of them decide not to revise their petitions. 

In the hearing which led by Hamdan Zoelva, one DPD candidate from Maluku, Ramli Uswanas decline to revise his pleading. Nonetheless, MK will still proceeds the application which registered under 20-30/PHPU-DPD/XII/2014 registration code, “Fine, if there is no revised application, the previous application will be considered as enough” Hamdan declared.

MK has received revised pleadings on Saturday (24/5). In the session, all pleading is regarded as been read. Main points on the pleading to be fixed are typographic error, phrases, physical evidences, and witnesses. The next agenda will be hearing session for the Defendant and Related Parties which planned to be conducted on Wednesday (28/5) 

32 DPD cases were delivered to MK’s desk for the PHPU from 19 provinces. The nineteen-province namely, Aceh Province, North Sumatra, South Sumatra, Bengkulu province, DKI Jakarta, Banten, Central Java, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, South Kalimantan Province, Gorontalo, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Maluku Province, North Maluku, Papua province, and the province of West Papua.  

Some Applicants also listed as incumbent members, namely, Poppy Dharsono, Central Java DPD member, Herlina Murib and Paulus Yohanes Sumino from Papua, Mursyid from Aceh, and Mohammad Sofwat from South Kalimantan. (Lulu Hanifah/mh)
