In the revised petition hearing, Greater Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) questioned its involvement in the Related Parties. As being disclosed in the PHPU session, Monday (26/5) at MK Plenary Room.

Eva Yulianti, Gerindra’s Attorney, stated his side has submitted answers as the Related Parties on Sunday (25/5). But, MK Clerks gave them a note of tardiness. 

“Your Majesty states that for the answers of Related Parties will be conducted in the next session, but we have a problem here in the Clerks’ administration, we registered on time but they gave us the note of tardiness” Eva described.

In respond to that, Hamdan explained the Related Parties registration must be submitted the latest on preliminary session. “The application must be submitted in the first session, after the due then it is late. Answering form or completed information may be submitted latter” he answered.

Gerindra registered under 07-06/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XII/2014 registration number sued the General Election Commission’s (KPU) decision 411/Kpts/KPU/2014 on the Determination Results of Election of Members of the House of Representatives (DPR), Regional Representatives Council (DPD), and the Regional Representatives Council (DPRD) and the Provincial Council District / City in the 2014 election. Moreover, 2014’s Election judge also laden with fraud and structured, systematic and massive violations undertaken by the Commission.

Although Gerindra was positioned at third in the legislative election. Gerindra still questioned election result in 26 provinces, generating 70 cases. (Lulu Anjarsari/mh)
