Prosper and Justice Party (PKS) represented by its attorney, Zainuddin Paru. On Friday (23/5) attended Preliminary Session in MK Plenary Session Room. The session was attended by all Applicants aside from DPD.

Through Zainuddin Paru, PKS filed 43 cases on 2014’s PHPU. 4 cases are related to DPR (Aceh II, East Java V, Central Sulawesi I, and North Maluku I), 8 cases on Province DPRD, and 31 cases on City DPRD. 

Based on trial’s provision, the Judges will give advices to further be inspected in checking session, which planned to be conducted on Monday (26/5). In its pleading, there are many unsuitability between the files and the evidences. For example, document titled Samarinda 2, contained Samarinda 4’s evidences, the unsuitability also happened to some documents. Zainuddin himself agrees to revise the application.

In its claim, PKS urges MK to state null and binding on the KPU’s decision about General Election Results of DPR and DPRD nationally in Year 2014 General Election, particularly in the districts petitioned selection.

In the session, Hamdan Zoelva also retains that all complaining-parties may registered related-subject matters to the Clerks of Constitutional Courts. (Winandriyo Anggianto/mh)
