Constitutional Courts (MK) arranged Preliminary Session on PHPU by Friday (23/5) in Plenary Session Room with the agenda of Files Checking.

In the Session, National Democratic (Nasdem) Party represents by its attorney Taufik Basari, will dispatch cases on some Elections Area (Dapil) in the next fixation pleading session and will be delivered directly to the MK’s Clerks. “Your Majesty, we want to pull off some disputed dapil and the fixed files will be submitted in the next session” Taufik said.

Nasdem Party also registered 25 cases related to the acquisition of votes at the Regency/City ( electoral district of Nagan Raya 1 , Nagan Raya 2 , Nagan Raya 3 , and 3 in Langsa NAD ; 1 electoral district of South Nias in North Sumatra ; Dapil South Solok West Pasaman 1 and 3 electoral district in West Sumatra ; Dapil Full River 1 , River 2 Full , 3 Full River in Jambi ; 5 electoral district of Sukabumi and Bandung in West Java 6 ; Dapil Karanganyar 3 , Starch 5 , and 6 in Tegal Central Java 5 electoral district of Jember , Bangkalan 3 , 2 Sampang in East Java ; 1 electoral district of East Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara ; Dapil 1 Banjar in South Kalimantan ; Dapil 3 Berau in East Kalimantan ; Dapil Parigi Dapil Sigi Moutong 4 and 5 in Central Sulawesi , as well as Dapil Wajo 3 and 4 electoral district of North Toraja in South Sulawesi ) and 1 case of proceedings in respect of individual candidates for the District/City ( Sonny B Krisen of 4 electoral district of South Minahasa in North Sulawesi ) .

Party led by Surya Dharma Paloh as Chairman and Patrice Rio Capella as Secretary General is essentially suing election results in 23 provinces with a total number of cases registered as many as 50 cases. From all these cases , 8 cases associated with the acquisition of sound party at the House of Representatives ( electoral district of West Sumatra II , I Lampung , West Java II , VIII West Java , Central Java V , Southeast Sulawesi I, I Maluku , and Papua I) and 3 cases individual associated with the prospective members of the House of Representatives ( Faisal Joseph of Jakarta Dapil I, Henry III Iriawan of Dapil Banten , and Ir . Jhon Rende Manggontan of Papua Dapil I). While the 10 cases are related to the vote at the party\'s provincial parliament ( 2 electoral district of Aceh , North Sumatra 8 , West Sumatra 4 , 5 West Sumatra , Jambi 1 , 3 Bengkulu , Bengkulu 7 , 6 West Kalimantan , South Kalimantan, 2 , and Sulawesi South 2 ) , and 3 cases related to individual candidates for the Provincial Parliament ( H. Slamet from 10 electoral district of South Sumatra , Sri Endah Wulandari from Jakarta electoral district 6 , and Felly Estelita Runtuwene of North Sulawesi Dapil 5 ) .

As known, Nasdem, which registered on number 01-01/PHPU-DPR-DPRD/XII/2014, appeal over KPU’s decision number 411/KPTS/KPU/2014 covering PHPU on legislative elections. The party, led by Surya Paloh as chief executive and Patrice Rio Capella as General Secretary plea on 50 cases in 23 provinces. Elections in the disputed dapil are contained with fraud and fudge which harms Nasdem votes.  On the argument, Nasdem wants MK to cancel KPU’s decision (Panji Erawan/mh)
