Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court ( MK ) Hamdan Zoelva received the delegation from China that is a combination of visitor election on Thursday ( 3/4 ) afternoon at the Court House . Election visitor is academics who have studied in China in the field of elections and democracy . The arrival destination as part of the review activities in Indonesian election on 9 April 2014 .

" We are grateful to the Chairman of the Constitutional Court are willing to accept our arrival in the midst of the trial , " said Adam King as head of the delegation . The convoy consisted of seven people . Some are derived from the United States , Hong Kong , and others.

" Our arrival would like to become more familiar with the role of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia , especially the upcoming election , " added Adam King .

On that occasion Hamdan Zoelva explained various things related Constitutional Court established since August 13, 2003 . Among them , court’s authority is tested Act against the 1945 Constitution, the authority to decide disputes between state institutions , dissolution of political parties , to decide Election results disputes and, as well as the opinion of the Parliament shall decide on the proposal of impeachment or impeachment .

Hamdan said that there are already more than 600 cases of judicial review that the Court terminated . Approximately 30 percent of them answered , accepted by repealing the legislation in whole or cancel certain parts of the law , both norms contained in the article , a certain paragraph in the legislation .

Furthermore , Hamdan explained about the authority of the MOJ decide disputes the results of the local elections . " In Indonesia, there are over 500 hundred counties and cities , and 33 provinces .
