The Constitutional Court (MK) actually held a second trial of judicial review of Act on Youth filed by KNPI (National Committee of Indonesian Youth) West Java province on Monday (24/2). However, the Applicant did not attend the hearing it once revocation case letter which was read by the Chairman of the Panel of Judges, Patrialis Akbar.
Patrialis who acted as chairman of the panel of judges hearing opened promptly at 11:14 pm. However, in the courtroom does not seem representative of the Applicant any person present in the courtroom. After clarifying the presence of the Petitioner to the hearing officer, Patrialis also read a letter of request for revocation of Petitioner’s case.
“Officially, the Applicant has been invoked. So we read a letter Revocation Request of reviewing Article 1 paragraph (1) of Law Number 40 Year 2009 from the Applicant. In principle, the Applicant said that regarding the absence of the Power of Attorney and the direction of the DPP KNPI for Testing Act Article 1 paragraph (1) of Law No. 40 Year 2009 on Youth filed by DPD KNPI West Java, then we (the Applicant) submit application for revocation case Number 9/PUUXII / 2014," said Patrialis read excerpts of a letter of revocation of Petitioner’s petition case.
Furthermore, Patrialis declared officially accept revocation case previously questioned sense of the word "youth" and age limit of the youth category. The applicant considers fuzziness between youth and age limits of children has caused loss to the Applicant’s constitutional rights. At that time the Applicant had difficulty when doing regeneration.
