In his presentation, Hamdan explained that the reform of the state system in the nation is not always the same as other nations. Therefore , Indonesia does not need to emulate the system of government of other countries. "Outside the government system, not necessarily compatible with our system of government, so we do not need to be modeled from the outside. Governance system should be built based on the philosophy of the country," said Hamdan.
The system of government in Indonesia, said Hamdan, is Godhead based constitutionalism system. God in the philosophy of the Indonesian nation is a state philosophy. As known in Indonesia itself has been amended several times the state system, ranging from the old order, new order, to reform. "Our country is a country that is built based on the Constitution, because it could be said Indonesian constitutional democracy. And the guards of the democratic state is the Constitutional Court," said Hamdan in front of HMI cadres in Pontianak.
According to Hamdan, we should not keep changing the constitutional system. Because if it is constantly changing, it will be difficult to create a system of government that truly established. "The system can be good, when the system was implemented and continuously adhered well. If the development were to change, just be an adjustment, but do not change the system as a whole. For countries that are just beginning to evolve, the rules may still adjusting. We must be patient in the state, but remains in principle not to let the crime happen," added Hamdan. (ddy / mh)
