Attorney of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), Ibrahim Sumantri, revealed that it has improved its written request. According to him, the revised petition has been submitted to the Registrar of the Constitutional Court on December 9, 2013 ago.
Ibrahim said it had already improved application in accordance with the advice and counsel of the Constitutional Court Panel on the previous trial. Ibrahim said, among other improvements made on the identity of the applicant, the authority of the Court, and the substance of the petition.
“What we revise is with regard to the identity of the Applicant, we fix by adjusting the Rules of the Constitutional Court," said Ibrahim.
Previously , APINDO the constitutionality of Article 59 paragraph (7), Article 65 paragraph ( 8 ) , and Article 66 paragraph ( 4 ) Employment Act . In the Introduction session on Thursday (28/11) afternoon, Ibrahim stated provisions governing the employment agreement for a specified time, as stipulated in the articles; the practice is open to multiple interpretations that led to legal chaos.
