Constitutional Court ResearcherFajarLaksonowelcomes the visit of President University students to learn many things about the Court, on Thursday (21/11) at the Constitutional Court building. Described by Fajarwhen face to face with these students, the decision of the Constitutional Court are final and binding requires all citizens to respect the decision of the Court. "There is no further legal action over any decision of the Court. It aims to ensure legal certainty," said Fajar.
Related to the scent of corruption hanging over a decision of the Court, it was still not able to annul a decision of the Court. Fajaradds no legal basis in the constitution which provides that the decision of the Court may be canceled. If it is true there is corruptive nuances on Court decision, legal action should be taken by the general court in civil court.
Related functions and authority of the Judicial Commission (KY), Fajarinsists that KY is not authorized to oversee the constitutional judge, because the authority has been canceled by the Constitutional Court in 2006. “Inpractice, KY can only supervise the Supreme Court and all courts below it. Required by constitutional judges but not the control board overseeing and upholding the dignity of judges of the Constitutional Court,"said Fajar. ( Julie / mh )
