Constitutional Court is a very important judicial institution in Indonesia. Therefore, maintaining the presence of Constitutional Court in Indonesia is a shared responsibility of all components.

"In a country in Eastern Europe, where the Constitutional Court sometimes despised other state agencies because it’s so powerful powers of the Constitutional Court. Because many Actswere canceled by Constitutional Court," said Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Hamdan Zoelva in discussions with the Executive Board of Muslim Students Association (HMI), Friday (8/11) in Jakarta.

Similarly, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia was facing a major test. According to Hamdan, the existence is still highly regarded.

"Little by little, the Court back upright. Insya Allah, in 2-3 months hopefully to be normal again," said Hamdan.

Furthermore Hamdan said, getting people to understand and explore the constitution, it is the wise man in the life of the state. A constitution is the master of a very nationalist.

"So, a judge required to rigorously control of the constitution. Therefore, the constitutional judges is a statesman," Hamdan said while answering a question from a student.

Hamdan further responded to a student question regarding the existence of Interim Law on the Constitutional Court.

"It is being tested in the Court; I do not want to comment on the issue further. Just let it go, just wait for the verdict. It is including ongoing discussion process in the House. So just wait," said Hamdan. (Nano TresnaArfana / mh)
