Alor District Election Commission (Respondent) and Elected Candidate Amon Djobo - Imran Duru (Related Party) denied all Petitioner arguments through their legal counsel respectively. This was revealed in court to hear the answer from Respondent and to Related Party that was held on Thursday (24/10) afternoon, at the Plenary Room. Petitioner in this case is Candidate Simeon Th Pally - Nasarudin Kinanggi.

According to Respondent’s attorney, Melkianus Ndaomanu, it divides the answer into three parts, namely the exception, principal answers, and cover. In the exception, it asked the Court to declare the petition cannot be accepted, because the applicant’s request blurred, vague, and incomplete (libel). Therefore, Petitioner’s objection is regarding the dispute should have the vote tally on Election Second Round Alor regency period 2014-2019. "While the alleged violation is not addressed to the Respondent regarding the results of the vote count, but a dispute regarding the amount of voters list or DPT," he explained.

In the principal case, according to Melkianus, it argued that the applicant had been wrong in calculating the DPT that conclusion inflate the DPT used in Alor Election is unfounded. Therefore, the formula used by the applicant by adding the number of voters of another polling station in the calculations is the wrong thing. The exact formula for obtaining the number of DPT is the number of voters voting or A2, plus the number of voters in the DPT that do not use the right to vote or A3, the same as the number of voters in a copy of DPT or A1. "Or A3 = A1 + A2," he explained.

The next session of the agenda examining witnesses Petitioner and the Related Party will be held on Monday (28/10) at 11.00 am. The plan, the applicant shall submit 12 witnesses, while the Related Parties 2 witnesses. ( Dodi / mh )
