The Constitutional Court held a preliminary hearing on Electoral Dispute Case Regional Head and Deputy Head of Wajo filed by three candidates, Wednesday (16/10). Candidate No. 1 Sanusi Karateng - Andi Surya Agraria, Candidate No. 2 Andi Safri Modding - Rahman Rahim, and Candidate No. 6 Amran Mahmud – Yusuf Machmud Korosi.

Legal Counsel to the Petitioners, Hasbi Abdullah conveys the main points of the petition of the petitioner before the panel of judges chaired by Judge Harjono. Hasbi also explained that in essence the applicant considers Wajo Commission has committed an offense by setting one of the candidates who are not eligible to be participants in Wajo General Election, Candidate No. 3 A Asriadi Mayang - A Saidiman.

According to the Petitioners, Couple Asriadi Mayang - A Saidiman did not fulfill terms of party support. Because the bearer party both the National Party and the Republican Party Food Specialists does not provide a signature as proof of legal support. Therefore, the parties affix signatures on a letter of support; Dede Sutiadi is no longer as Chairman of the Republican National Party Wajo. "Dede is no longer served as chairman of DPC Nasrep Party, both before and during the registration of candidates. In question has been moved to Nasdem Party prior to the registration of candidates, in March," said Hasbi who also explained that KPU Wajo does not endorse candidates who according to the Petitioners to be legitimate participants in the General Election Wajo.

In addition to the arguments of the action expressed Wajo Commission considered wrong, the Petitioners through Hasbi also said that there have been structured, systematic and massive violations committed by the Commission Wajo. 

Feeling aggrieved by these violations, the applicant also asked the Court to order the re-verification and re-voting. "Ordered to the Respondent to verify anymore the Determination Requirements Candidate Regent and Vice Regent Wajo, especially requirements bearers of political parties Determination candidate regent and vice regent on behalf of H. Andi Asriadi Mayang and H. Saidiman and not eligible for nomination by political parties participated in local elections and Deputy Head of Wajo Year 2013.
