Constitutional Court Honorary Council chaired by the Constitutional Court justice Harjono held a closed-door hearing on Thursday (10/10). This is stated by the Secretary General Janedjri M. Gaffar who met the reporters in his office.
Janedjri explains the third trial is scheduled to examine two constitutional judges, the Constitutional Judge Maria Farida Indrati and Anwar Usman, Registrar of the Court Kasianur Sidauruk, and two Registrar replacements, ie Syaiful Anwar and Wiwik Budi Wasito.
The hearing was held to hear testimony related to the case handling disputes that ensnare non - active Chief Justice M. Akil Mochtar by the Commission, the Election Gunung Mas and Lebak regency. "Honorary Council will explore the handling of disputes related to Election Gunung Mas and Lebak regency," he said.
While relating the hearing that the Court of Honor Council held closed, Janedjri Honor Court explained that the Assembly decides to be closed because of the material to be excavated associated with the handling of the substance of the case. "The thing to remember is the constitution of an independent and impartial judge. Any decision taken based on the decisions of each. Constitutional judges and the other one can not affect each other," he explained.
For Janedjri, Akil twisted cases undermine public confidence in the Court which has been built up over 10 years back. However, further Janedjri , Cour will be backup and restore public trust in the Court.
