The winning team from incumbent Bogor regent Rachmat Yasin through his attorney Heru Widodo denies committing fraud in the Election process, as claimed by the applicant, couple Alex Sandi Ridwan and his deputy, Husen Habib Hengky Tarnando.
In his official reply which was read in the hearing continued on Friday (4/10) morning. Heru dismissed allegations that Yasin has mobilized teachers to attend the workshop in order to support his winning. Instead, it asserts, the workshop purely as PGRI and Regent Rachmat initiative comes as one invitation in his capacity as head of the region to provide encouragement and motivation for teachers. "During the meeting, there was no campaign message delivered by the Regents," said Heru.
However, related to the addition of benefits for part-time teachers, it is intended that part-time teachers salary can be adjusted to the minimum wage and have nothing to do with the General Election. Similarly, the various charges leveled Petitioner’s attorney at the previous hearing, such as the existence of coercion exercised on education ranks against the teachers, for the disbursement of Bansos funds gain the sympathy of voters and the board Rachmat Yasin Center which acts as a member and chairman KPPS, Heru refused to firm throughout the argument. Because of the court case, it requested that the Court rejected Petitioner’s argument and declares all legitimate and binding decision of the Election Commission which sets the Bogor couple Rachmat Yasin and Nurhayati as elected regent.
Related Party in case number 130/PHPU.D-XI/2013 is asking the Court rejected the argument of the lawsuit because it did not find any violation of a structured, systematic and massive that could invalidate the results of the General Election last held 8 September 2013. Scheduled, the Court will examine the Petitioner’s witnesses on Monday, October 7 at 16.30 pm. ( Julie / mh )
