The advanced trial of Electoral Dispute Regional Head and Deputy Head of Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra held again in Constitutional Court on Wednesday (25/9). The lawsuit filed by Rahmat Pardamean Hasibuan - Andri Ismail Putra Nasution by case number 123/PHPU.D-XI/2013, and by Tondi Roni Tua - Idham Hasibuan and also by Sarmadan Hasibuan - Paisal Hasibuan with number 124/PHPU.D-XI.2013.
Ahmad Wakil Kamal as the attorney of Padang Lawas Regency delivered answers toward Petitioner’s petition. Relating to Decree No. 35/2013 which recently passed on September 19, Kamal explained the substance of the petition should be associated with the vote counts. "But it questioned regarding delay in the determination of the results of the Regent and Vice Regent Padang Lawas. Object should be the result of the vote count," he said.
Meanwhile Candidate Number 6 on behalf of Ali Sultan Harahap - Ahmad Zarnawi as a Related Party has denied all the arguments expressed by the Petitioner. According to Hadiningtias as Related Party’s attorney, the petition is not true. "Regarding the meeting of the heads of the village or district, it is an annual event that is should they attend, such as safari Ramadan, Nuzulul Quran to laying the first stone," he said.
In the trial, Petitioners presented witnesses. One of them was a witness named Sofyan Sukri from couple Tondi Roni Tua - Idham Hasibuan and Sarmadan Hasibuan - Paisal Hasibuan which explained the effort direction to local officials in the event of laying the first stone of the district office. "The show was asking for support in order to support the incumbent. I tell to some friends to pick back Sutan Harahap that redevelopment passed," he explained.
Meanwhile, the village chief Silambuea Zulkifli revealed on July 25, 2013 there was a meeting at the head of the Regent Ali Sultan Harahap. Harjono adjourned the trial until Tuesday, October 1, 2013 to re- listen to the witnesses and experts. In their petition, Petitioners argued that Padang Lawas Commission in violation of issued Decree No. 34/KPTS/KPU-PL/002.964962/IX/2013 on the Determination and Certification Number and Percentage of Vote Results Legitimate Candidate Regent and Vice Regent Padang Lawas in 2013 dated 17 September 2013.
