Three Candidates Sued Sidrap Election Result

Three candidates regional head and deputy regional head Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap) District, South Sulawesi, sued Sidrap Election Commission (KPU) Decision of related outcomes of regional head elections Number 45/Kpts/KPU-Kab-125.433362 / IX/2013, which establishes candidate number 6 H. Rusdi Masse and H. Dollah Mando as a candidate elected regent and deputy regent.

The third pair of candidates who apply in the Constitutional Court; Andi Walahuddin Habib and Hj. Yuriadi Abadi (number 4), and Rafiddin Hamoes – Bahari Parawangsa (number 2), and Insan Parenrengi Tanri and Kemal Baso Parawangsa (number 7).

In the trial, the Petitioners were represented by legal counsel Andy Syahputra filed a petition that has been fixed. Among them, the offense is structured, massive and systematic implementation of Sidrap General Election that affected the votes.

Petitioner also argued in his petition that Sidrap Commission committed some offense, among others, the voters who cast more than one time, voters under age, mass mobilization outside Sidrap, canceling candidate debate for no apparent reason, and does not verify diploma candidate number 6. In addition, the Petitioner also argues that the politics of money, the use of budget funds and the mobilization of all the civil servants by couple number 6 Rusdi Masse and Dollah Mando.

Constitutional judges, led by Chief Justice M. Akil Mochtar scheduled to hold a hearing this case number 110/PHPU.D-XI/2013 to listen to the main petition tomorrow, Tuesday (17/9) at 13:00 pm. (Lulu Ghaisani / mh)
