Candidate Regent and Vice Regent Kornelius Kodi Mete-Daud Lende Umbu Moto (Number Two) sued the result of election in Southwest Sumba District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to Constitutional Court. The first hearing was held on Monday (19/8) afternoon, at the Plenary Room. Present on the occasion Daud Lende Umbu Moto accompanied by legal counsel, Sirra Prayuna et al.

Sirra Prayuna said it questioned the violations that are quantitative, ie the result of the recapitulation of the vote, which was announced by the District Election Commission. Southwest Sumba (Respondent). According to Sirra, there are differences between the voting results of the vote by the Respondent with counting C1 form owned by the Applicant. "In our application, we focus on two areas, namely Central Wewea and West Wewea," said Sirra.

Based on the results of recapitulation C1 Applicant version, the vote on Election Couples Southwest Sumba Number 1 as many as 10,748 votes, Couple Number 2 as much as 80 351 votes, and Couple Number 3 as much as 68 904 votes.

As for the decision, the Commission stated the acquisition of Southwest Sumba each candidate is as follows: Candidate No. 1 Jacob Malo Bulu-Johanis Milla Mesa Gili earned 10.179 votes, Candidate No. 2 Kornelius Kodi Mete-David Lende Umbu Moto as 79.498 votes, while Candidate No. 3 Markus Dairo Talu-Ndara Tanggu Kaha getting 81.543 votes.

"So there is difference between counting applicant according to form C1 and DB models, ie no difference Couples 569 Number 1 minus the sound, then Couple Number 2 minus 853 votes, while No. 3 additional 12,639 pair sounds," said Sirra to Constitutional Assembly comprising Chief Justice M. Akil Mochtar, Judge Maria Farida Indrati, and Anwar Usman.

Sirra revealed, Applicant has been impaired by votes’ reduction for the company and the addition of sound to Markus Dairo Talu-Ndara Tanggu Kaha (Related Party). "There was an addition to the pair number 3 in Central Wewea Sub district and West Wewea Sub district by 1,222 votes," he said.

Therefore, in petitum among others asked the Court to establish that the correct sound is recapitulation Applicant version, as well as declare null and void and the Minutes of the Commission Decision concerning the determination of the results of recapitulation Regent and Vice Regent of Southwest Sumba in 2013.

Next session will be held on Wednesday, (21/8) afternoon, with the agenda to hear the answer to the Respondent and Related Party response as well as the examination of witnesses. The plan, the applicant will present 35 witnesses. (Dodi / mh)
