Welcoming Idul Fitri 1434 H, Chief Justice of Constitutional Court M. Akil Mochtar held an open house in order to make a bond of friendship in his private residence in the city of Pontianak, West Kalimantan. On the second day of Eid on August 9, 2013, it seemed to present a number of top officials of the city of Pontianak. 

Although it look less healthy, Akil receive guests with happy face with jokes that are typical Akil is known as the man who expertly break the ice. The event opens at 9 am local time and end at 5 pm also appears attended by local people who want to take pictures with and get closer to the former spokesman for the Court in this era of Mahfud MD leadership and his family. 

Akil has been awarded "Tanjungpura Honor Award" by Tanjungpura University, West Kalimantan on 25 May. The award was given for his accomplishments and achievements which was a success of Akil in the name of West Kalimantan at the national level in the field of law and government. This event is expected to strengthen and enhance the friendship between fellow citizens of Pontianak and Akil closer to residents in the place of his birth. (Hendy Prasetya / mh)
