Just like previous years, this time the Constitutional Court (MK) held friendship and break fasting. Event to celebrate the month of Ramadan was attended by Chief Justice M. Akil Mochtar, Deputy Chief Justice Achmad Sodiki and the judges of the constitution, Secretary General M. Janedjri Gaffar, and the officials and structural employees. Aside from internal, the event was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Assembly Lukmam Hakim Saifuddin, Deputy Chairman of State Audit Agency Hasan Bisri and journalists from both print and online media, Wednesday (17/7) afternoon.

Akil Mochtar opened the event by giving a speech. In his speech, Akil said that Ramadan always give privileges. One of these features is a great passion for having friendship with family, relatives, and colleagues. According to him, friendship like this can be used as momentum to support the dedication and work tasks are more optimal.

In addition, Akil also said that the blessed month of Ramadan is called. That’s because many virtues and privileges therein. He said that Allah Almighty has promised to forgive the sins of the guilty if they repent immediately. Then, continued Akil, God will also grant the petition if his servant prayed and asked Him because God will multiply the reward and deeds of His servants.

Akil also advised that we fast according to Rasulullah by faith and expecting reward from Allah with sincere intentions and a deed, fasting is intended to Allah. Because according to him, God has promised the reward of fasting invaluable amount.
