After a dozen years we breathe air in the of reform era, reform of the crisis apparently has not been able to be completed. After the 1945 Constitution changes that implies a fundamental and significant change to the organizers of national and state leaders, formal leader should born on a more democratic system.

Thus is expressed by Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) in the event of Cadre Inaugural Plenary of Taruna Melati Utama, in Makasar Muhammadiyah University (UMM) auditorium on Friday (12/7).

"Reform momentum we once did since 1998, originally intended to improve aspects of leadership, both in terms of recruitment and quality mechanisms. The hope will be born leaders who truly community based on rationality, are competent, have a vision and integrity, is no longer just rely on charisma and traditional legitimacy," said Akil Mochtar.

Akil also said that the leader is a person who by all potential victory there, able to motivate, lead and motivate others to knowingly and voluntarily participate in and contribute to achieving organizational goals. Leadership is a skill that must be owned by a leader and lead the organization.

Between leaders and leadership are not always identical. Therefore there is a very popular adage. The leader is made, not born. "In order for the process of formation and leadership placement is successful, then the character and core values of leadership are key requirements that must possess to be a good leader."

In addition, as we know the Islamic perspective there are four qualities that should be possessed by a leader, Siddiq, amanah, tabligh and fathanah.  A person who has four basic properties is expected to be a good leader.

Akil added the term is often associated with the presence statesman politician or leader of a country which is highly respected and will respect the public, the public good in the national and international level. Statesmen lie in the willing to settle personal interests and ambitions, and then replace it with the supremacy of the interests of the state and nation. "I also find the fact that someone is usually called a statesman when he had to resign or retire from his work as a politician or a formal leader," said Akil.

Akil invites from now on we have to be smart and responsible in choosing a leader. Many pollsters just emphasize three aspects to see a viable or not to be a leader, among others, popularity, acceptability and electability of a leader candidate. But no requirement is more important and must be owned by a leader, namely morality and integrity.

Before closing his speech delivered by Akil, transformation to realize that moral leadership and integrity that we need to push and we move to the new statesmen could again be the leader of Indonesia, and hopefully this training becoming one of the important effort to print the statesman nation’s character leaders.
