Participants are gathering media crews who posted or often do reporting in Court building. It is around 20 participants from different media, both online and print, follow this gathering.

In gathering this time the participants had the opportunity to conduct face-to-face and suave with Chief Justice Akil Mochtar and Secretary-General Janedjri M. Gaffar. Event with a very relaxed atmosphere discussion is interspersed with the theme "The Constitutional Court and the 2014 election".

According to Janedjri, this gathering activity conducted at least two goals. First, to foster friendship between the Court and the media crew, this is already very well established. Second, related to the agenda of the Court faced the mat next year’s national elections, legislative elections and the president / vice president. Where the Court as a judicial institution authorized to settle disputes dispute election results (PHPU) must establish good communication with the news media as the carrier and information to the public.

In the discussion, Akil Mochtar and Janedjri explain the significance of the knowledge of the decisions and proceedings of the Constitutional Court in the trial PHPU, besides also legislation governing election-related. Because by knowing and understanding the three things, then people can be directly involved in guarding the course of elections and the resolution of disputes in the Court.

In order that the Court will be held on Pancasila and the Constitution of education and training of the Criminal Procedure of the Court (especially PHPU procedural law), for the organizers, both the National Election Commission and the Election Supervisory Board and their staffs, and all political parties contesting the election. Even if possible, the Court will also hold the same training for police officers and prosecutors, as the party will also intersect with the general election. The hope, in addition to expediting and effectiveness trials in the Court, this training is also an effort to realize the administration of elections more democratic and consistent.

One of the developments that need to be known, said Janedjri, is the party who has the legal standing or right of litigants in PHPU Legislature. Where post-decision of the Court stating that the candidate elected by a majority vote has spawned a potential dispute between the candidates in the same party. In other words, between the candidates in the same party can sue each other or dispute in the Court. But with records, must be filed by the leader of the political party concerned. Akil description and Janedjri also interspersed with a few questions from the participants. One of them asked about the handling of cases in the Court if the Commission decision is wrong and has an impact on whether or not a candidate is elected.
