The Constitutional Court (MK) held the inaugural session of dispute of General Election Result of Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi in the Plenary Room, 2nd Floor, Court House, on Monday (6/5). The seven cases referred to the case No. 43 to 49/PHPU.D-XI/2013.
Applicant with registration no. 43 represented by legal counsel, Andi Muhammad Asrun conveyed the main points of his petition. Asrun said his client objected to the decision of the Election Commission passed Sinjai Candidate No. 2 Mahyanto Massarappi- Massalinri Latief deemed not qualify. In fact, further Asrun, Sinjai Commission passed a couple that just did not qualify. "This issue arised because of the dual support of Hanura," said Asrun.
In addition, Asrun also questioned Sinjai Commission attitude that did not validate Petitioner’s ballots. In fact, continued Asrun, the ballots were piercing through. As a result, the applicant feels aggrieved because of votes is reduced due to invalid ballots declared invalid by Sinjai Election Commission. "This issue was also due to lack of socialization," said Asrun who also said there had been a violation of the practice of distribution of money and goods with political motives and character assassination against the applicant.
Petitioner no. 44 namely Mukhlis Isma-Musa Rasyid (No. 3) conveyed the same objection. Mukhlis Isma sincere without legal counsel said there were two candidates who do not qualify for obeying Sinjai Election. Two couples in question his participation, namely Mahyanto Massarappi- Massalinri Latief and Andi Seto Gadhista Asapa-Muchtar Mappatoba. Mukhlis asked the Court to annul Sinjai Commission decision related the determination of the two candidates
Petitioner no. 45 and 46 Andi Muhammad Irwan Patawari-Andi M. Takdir Hasyim and Muchlis Panaungi-Zulfikar through legal counsel Amerullah expressed petition. Both were equally applicant be going to candidates who have attended the selection Candidate Regent and Vice Regent nomination in 2013 through political parties.
"Petitioner when the announcement was not listed. We then questioned the applicant. Until recently the answer was never we found," said Amerullah.
Petitioner no. 48, Muh Anis Asra without his lawyer submitted his own petition points. He said he was the candidate which had been canceled by Sinjai Commission. Anis said that he and his partner have actually been supported by 20 parties. Therefore, Anis asked the Court to annul the Commission decision to revoke Petitioner No. 48 as a candidate.
Lastly, Petitioner No. 49 is also going to candidates that Amsul Sultan A. Mappasara also sued Sinjai Commission decision that does not get him in the final days of the delivery of the support period. The reason, Sinjai Commission considered support ineligible because it has not signed and some were not stamped. Based on that, Amsul asked the Court to overturn Commission decision to revoke it.
