The Constitutional Court (MK) held the trial continued in the second session of Dispute of Election Result of Merangin Regency on Wednesday (17/4). The trial in case number 28/PHPU.D-XI/2013 petitioned by Candidate Syukur-Fauziah is chaired by Chief Justice M. Akil Mochtar, accompanied by Maria Farida Indrati and Anwar Usman in Plenary Room. In evidentiary hearing it presented witnesses proposed by Petitioner, Respondent and Related Party.

Respondent’s Witness (Merangin’s Election Commission) which is the District Election Committee expressed no objection submitted by the Petitioner’s witnesses in four districts. Moreover, the argument of the members of the military / police who exercise their rights, the witness denied Respondent Basri as District Election Committee. He acknowledged there are two members of the military / police are getting invitations to choose, but they do not exercise their voting rights. Village Head Not Involved

Luthfie Hakim, Petitioner argues that there is a structured, systematic, and massive violation in the administration of Merangin’s Election Commission done by Couple Haris-Khafied (HARKAD). The structured violations have occurred in the first electoral district consists of four districts, namely Renah Pembarap, Bangko, Nalo Tantan, Batang Masumai.

Additionally, Petitioner argues that the mobilization of the Supervisory Committee, KDP, the village, the village, and organizers of the election by a certain candidate.
