Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Moh. Mahfud MD received a visit by Ka’bah Youth Movement (GPK) on Thursday (21/3) afternoon in his office on the 15th floor Court Building. Delegation was led by Secretary Andrian Kurnia Putra, who was accompanied by Deputy Secretary Muh. Bambang Yasmiral Maloko, as well as other members; Anjas Asmara, Haries Setiawan and Hernadi.

"Our arrival here to invite Pak Mahfud attended as a speaker in National Leadership Meeting of GPK on March 29. The meeting is tentative, sir," said Andrian Kurnia Putra.

"If on the 29th of March, I can confirm attendance. But on March 30 and March 31, 2013 I’ve attached schedule. March 30 and March 31 in Riau in Semarang," said Mahfud.

On that occasion, the delegation asked GPK also had news about the nomination Mahfud MD as RI-1 or RI-2. "In the meantime, the news is still the issue," said Mahfud little snickered.

Furthermore Mahfud said that actually has all the capital of Indonesia to move forward, such as natural resources are abundant. The problem, says Mahfud, a lot of corruption in many areas, there was mutual "hostage" fellow officers and others.

"So I say, Indonesia if you can build the rule of law, 50 percent of the problem is over. Damage in many areas because the law is enforced," said Mahfud.

Gayus case, for example, according to Mahfud, "has not left unharmed" because that case dealt with a new passport forgery and counterfeiting documents.

"But how Gaius laundering trillions of dollars to the taxpayers, it is not closed," said Mahfud.

In such condition, Mahfud suggests, firm leadership needed to address issues such as Gayus case.

"Everybody Indonesia when spoken to, as we are, complaining about various cases, but no one dared to use his power," said Mahfud who also advised the young people, including those who are members of GPK, to be able to make a better nation to Indonesia front. (Nano Tresna Arfana / mh)
