Issues on Moraid District inclusion to Tambrauw Regency came to be the trial agenda of judicial review of Act 56/2008 on the establishment of Tambrauw Regency - Case No. 19/PUU-VII/2013 - on Thursday (14/3) afternoon. Petitioner is Stepanus Malak, Adam Syatfle, Ishak Malak and Aristoteles Bisulu. But in the trial present only the applicant’s attorney M. Asrun with colleagues, Yance K.

In the trial, Petitioner’s attorney delivered written application improvements.

"Do you need to bring up the things what you think is important as an improvement," asked Achmad Sodiki as Panel chairperson.

"Your Honor, we have to say repair request, hopefully considered sufficient based on the recommendation and advice of His Majesty the previous trial," said the applicant’s attorney, M. Asrun.

However, further Asrun, there is still one thing that needs to be corrected from the petition. It was found on the third page petition, written "material Testing Article 3 paragraph (1) and Article 5 (1) of Law no. 5/2008 ".

"From Article 3 paragraph (1) and Article 5 (1) of the Act, we strike out paragraph (1) Her Majesty. Thus we have only tested the article, Article 3 and Article 5, "said Asrun who also explained that it has submitted evidence of P-1, P-3 and P-4.

As it is known, the Petitioner questioned the inclusion of Moraid District into Tambrauw Regency, West Papua Province. Some of the constitutional losses were suffered by Applicant, as though Moraid district judicially entered Tambrauw Regency, but the applicant is still doing the financing of institutional development and public service.

Petitioner other losses, that the Moraid District still use the facilities of public services such as health and education in Sorong Regency due to the distance of Moraid district to Tambrauw Regency capital in Fef. Thus governments Sorong is experiencing undue financial burden.

Next, Moraid District people still has Sorong ID cards, so the presence of Moraid District is to be the element that should be taken into account in the budget, especially the allocation of the budget for health care and education should be handled in the budget Tambrauw Regency.
