Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Central Board (NA) of Yogyakarta was doing friendship to the Constitutional Court (MK) on Thursday (31/1) afternoon. Their arrival had been received by Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Moh. Mahfud MD.
"Our arrival to the Court is to tighten the friendship, as well as an initial step forward to foster cooperation between the Constitutional Court with the NA," explained Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Chairman Norma Sari who accompanied the others, including Ulfa Mawardi and Upi Rahmawati.
On that occasion, Norma told Mahfud, NA is an autonomous organization and Muhammadiyah cadres who is daughter of the Islamic movement engaged in womanhood, social and religious.
"NA is an organization fostering Muslim women to be useful for religion, nation and state," said Norma.
"NA program four years is to advocate women and children and gender prioritization and implementation will set a number of priorities in running the program," explained Norma.
"In general the NA program four years were women and children and advocacy for gender mainstreaming and implementation, will set priorities in running a program," said the lecturer Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta.
Though on the other hand Norma lamented that fact women and children are not being played on the public stream.
"But we are grateful to Court decision that is always consider the interests of women and children, although there are pros and cons," added Norma.
The arrival of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Central Board was greeted positively by Mahfud. Including on the cooperation plan ahead, Mahfud would respond, "Publicly we are ready to work together in the future. But most importantly, cooperation must remain within the framework of the constitution and ideology. "
