Constitutional Judge Achmad Sodiki re-elected as Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court. Sodiki election for a second time, the result after all the constitutional judges does Plenary Meeting headed by Chief Justice MK Moh. Mahfud MD, Thursday (10/1) at the Consultative Meeting Room.

"In a closed meeting of all the judges unanimously to propose a name, which asks for the willingness and the willingness to hear back Ahmad Sodiki to resume his position until the end of the task," said Mahfud in a press conference after the plenary meeting of the election of the Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.

On that occasion, Mahfud and Sodiki present along with seven other constitutional judges, namely Harjono, Muhammad Alim, M. Akil Mochtar, Ahmad Fadlil Sumadi, Hamdan Zoelva, Maria Farida Indrati and Anwar Usman. In addition, the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court Janedjri M. Gaffar and Registrar of Court Kasianur Sidauruk also present the election.

Normatively, Sodiki will serve as Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court over the past two years and six months from the date of appointment. His plan, he will take an oath on Monday (14/1) morning, at the Plenary Court Courtroom.

However, he said, should know that he would end the constitutional term of office as a judge on August 16, 2013. Therefore, he could certainly not be fully served for 2.5 years as Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court. Asked whether he will return to court judges, Sodiki just joking, "Allah knows the best, I do not know".
