Court Holds Technical Guidance on Development of Standard Operating Procedure

In order to implement the values of bureaucratic reform, and based on the spirit of good governance, Saturday (24/11), the Constitutional Court (MK) organized a Technical Guidance Development Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)-based Key Performance Indicators (KPI). 

The event was officially opened by the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court Janedjri M. Gaffar, witnessed by officials and staff of the Clerk and the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court, which amounts to as much as 99 (ninety nine) participants, from Echelon II to the bottom level. In his speech, Janedjri explained to officials and employees who joined the show that often times the Audit Board (BPK) found no certain standard operating procedures used in these institutions, giving rise to a discrepancy. Therefore, further Janedjri, the Court invited directly BPKP (Financial and Development Supervisory Agency) to audit investigations country’s judicial system.

"It’s not a regular audit conducted by the auditor (or CPC BPKP against MK), but this entry into the audit investigation. I wanted to know what was the matter in the Constitutional Court, "explained Janedri. "And the recommendation (BPK) which was presented to me it was immediately formulate standard operating procedures," added Janedjri as Law doctoral candidate from the University of Diponegoro.

According BPKP on the job, continued Janedjri, the Court does not have a standard operating procedure, so when there are deviations Court could not detect such deviations. "Finally, I conclude, POS is very important," said Janedjri.

For that, said Janedjri, all issues related to the trial service, resume application, to an overview verdict solution must be scalable, fast, and resolved. "So the work we carry out in order to achieve the goals of the organization with a clear vision and mission, programs that already exist, as well as the key performance indicators, we can execute quickly and accurately," said Janedjri.

Jenedjri said all the officers and staff of the Clerk and the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court did not want to hear complaints and protests from stakeholders MK (related parties) that when dealing with MK getting ready to hurt because the service is slow. "While we’ve known that our service is fast and very transparent, but I or we do not want any complaints that the service at MK slow," he said.

Therefore, Janedjri said in his presentation that all employees are in fact the Court is willing to serve the community well in this activity are collected in order to fix and regulate the system, so that service the fast, precise, and well. "I’m hoping technical guidance of standard operation procedure based key performance indicators, the future can make us more orderly, more quickly, and work in a target," said Janedjri.
