Terrorism must be fought because terrorism is an enemy of humanity. This was stated by Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Moh. Mahfud MD when encountered non-profit organization concerned with the phenomenon of violence in the name of religion, Lazuardi Birru, on Tuesday (20/11).

"Terror is the enemy of humanity. State established to protect humanity. Therefore, the country must fight terrorism. I think there are four things that must be fought by the state, ie, terror, corruption, drug abuse and crimes against the state, such as treason or separatist movements, which could lead to chaos. I believe the government is much uglier than no government needed. The government should not be criticized, but it should not be imposed as unconstitutional. This threatens the survival of the nation and must be fought," he said when met at his office.

According to Mahfud, terrorism must be fought hard. Responding police attitudes that directly take action against suspected perpetrators and the perpetrators of terrorism, Mahfud disclose it legitimate in the eyes of the law. "If it (terrorism) is dangerous, may be directly executed. Intelligence Act became the legal basis for the state to prepare the instrument to protect people.
