General Elections Commission (KPU) of Padang Sidempuan city states rejected all arguments petition disputes the results of the elections of regional heads (Election) of Padang Sidempuan filed by the Dedi Jaminsyah Putra-Affan Siregar (Dedi-Affan). "Respondent (Padang Sidempuan Election Commission) rejected all arguments presented Petitioner, unless expressly recognized in the Respondent’s response."

That is the answer of Padang Sidempuan Election Commission delivered by its attorney, Indra Gunawan Purba in proceedings in the Constitutional Court (MK) on Monday (12/11/2012) morning. The trial for the case 85/PHPU-D/2012 is conducted by a panel of M. Akil Mochtar (panel chairman), Muhammad Alim, and Hamdan Zoelva.

Padang Sidempuan Election Commission in the exception said Dedi-Affan plead not contain matters relating to the error voting results. Therefore, Padang Sidempuan Commission assesses the application of Dedi-Affan did not meet the formal requirements as stated in Article 6 paragraph (2) letter b Constitutional Court Regulation (PMK) No. 15 of 2008.

Furthermore, the Panel Chairman M. Akil Mochtar asks happenings of the intervention of the official City Government of Padang Sidempuan, as argued by Dedi-Affan. "Official Intervention of Padang Sidempuan government, is it right?" said Akil. "Your Honor, that’s not true, because until the end of the regional election dated October 18, 2012 yesterday, there were no reports of PPK, PPS and PPK which states that there is intimidation of the district and government officials," said Indra Gunawan Purba.

Akil also asked the voters list (DPT) were without number (NIK), and double NIK. In response to this, Indra Gunawan Purba basically stated Election conducted by the Election Commission of Padang Sidempuan has been succeeded. It is characterized by a number of 68% of voters cast ballots in the DPT.

Election Commission of Padang Sidempuan petitum asked the Court to reject the dispute results of Padang Sidempuan Election Year 2012 filed by Dedi-Affan. "Petitum, that the Constitutional Court who examined this petition, presumably to give the decision to reject the petition in whole or at least cannot be accepted," pleaded Padang Sidempuan City Commission through its legal counsel, Indra Gunawan Purba.

In the meantime, Andar Amin Harahap and Muhammad Isnandar (Andar-Isnan) as the parties in this case, through his legal counsel, Agussyah Ramadani Damanik, declared victory of Andar-Isnan is a rational and reasonable thing. The indicator is the high percentage of people who use their voting rights (68.56%), and the support of the party-bearers of Andar-Isnan (PKB, PPP, PKNU, PDP, PKPB, the Labor Party, Patriot Party).
