In front of hundreds of clerics in Indonesia, Vice-Chairman MK Ahmad Sodiki explain constitutional point of view in the management of state assets. Sodiki asserts that the Constitutional Court has given a fairly clear interpretation of the meaning of Article 33 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution that the earth’s water and natural resources contained therein and controlled by the state for the greatest welfare of the people. Meaning is controlled by the state has the right to organize, implement, maintain and supervise. "Interpretation of this Court in accordance with the Constitution which should be further elaborated by the provisions under the law", said Sodiki.
The event was organized by the Indonesian Ulema Council in order to astral conjunction ‘Ulama Fatwa Committee in Indonesia IV which took place on Saturday (7/30/2012) at boarding school Cipasung, Singaparna, Tasikmalaya, West Java.
