Group of faculty and students of Education Department of Citizenship (Civics), University of Education Indonesia (UPI), Bandung was honored encounter with the Vice Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK), Achmad Sodiki, Friday (11/5). Encounter took place when about 150 people that UPI faculty and students during a visit to the Constitutional Court as well as the opportunity to get exposure to the material directly from Sodiki. UPI students were drawn to ask questions to Sodiki question and answer session.

Starting material exposure, Sodiki thanked for faculty and student groups wishing to visit the Civic UPI MK. "Thank you for coming because it is the Constitutional Court as a relatively new institution requires you to perform various authorities on the introduction of the Constitutional Court," said Sodiki modestly.

In addition to the Constitutional Court about the authority and obligation, Sodiki also expressed about the composition of constitutional justice. With a quiet, Sodiki explain to students that the constitutional judges in the Court of nine people. The nine constitutional justices came from the three "taps", three people appointed by the president, three elected by the Supreme Court (MA), and three others were elected by the House of Representatives (DPR).

"I myself was appointed by the president along with two other constitutional judges, namely Maria Farida Indrati and Hamdan Zoelva. Then selected by the Supreme Court were Mr. Muhammad Alim, Ahmad Fadlil Sumadi, and Anwar Usman. While those elected by the Parliament, Deputy Chief Justice Mr. Moh. Mahfud MD, Akil Mochtar, and Harjono. Each election is different ways," added Sodiki.

Then explain that the constitutional judges Sodiki maximum 70-year-old. As he jokingly said to be a judge Sodiki constitution should indeed people who are young, as a constitutional judge tiring.
