As one form of accountability to members of the board and comply with the provisions set forth in the articles of association, cooperative employee-member Constitutional Court (MK) held the Annual Members Meeting (RAT) III Cooperatives Constitution of 2012, Saturday (28/4) at Hall Elementary Court Building, Jakarta.

Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Moh. Mahfud MD officially opened the event, witnessed a number of officials and staff of the Court, including the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court as well as the Advisory Cooperative Janedjri M. Gaffar, Clerk of Court Kasianur Sidauruk, and Chairman of the Cooperative Pawit Haryanto Constitution, and in the presence of hundreds of members of the Cooperative Constitution.

In his briefing, Mahfud MD said that democracy is a pillar of economic cooperation in accordance with the ideology of Pancasila. This cooperative activity is also an economic model that is unique to Indonesia. "Since the roots of the people of Indonesia as a group, mutual cooperation, and mutual help, that’s the core of the cooperative," said Mahfud.

More than that, he also said that if there is cooperation that it contains a very large capital, but capital is not a person but a company or form a cooperative structure between the company and company, so it would make the meaning of the cooperative to be lost. "Cooperatives will lose their meaning, if not directly give meaning to people," he said.

Mahfud added that in fact the idea of cooperatives in Indonesia due to the economic life of society is weak, so it comes the attitude of helping each other. The real then he imagined that there are two economic models, namely the capitalist economy, let the free enterprise as free-bebasrya, the results for himself, and the second or the opponent is a socialistic economy, which means that citizens do not have freedom, because everyone is the same idea.
