Pioneering international school (RSBI) is contrary to the intention of nation-state that makes people proud of nation Indonesia in the atmosphere of Indonesia's. It is delivered by the Professor of State University of Jakarta Soedijarto when giving testimony as an expert in court petition further testing of the Education Law of the Constitutional Court held on Tuesday (20/3).
"School is contrary to the intention of the international nation-state, to make all proud Indonesian, making pride to the Indonesian people to become people of Indonesia in the atmosphere of Indonesia's. American schools if you look really upbeat America, even in Germany though. Right, how the international ask it here? "Explained Soedijarto in front of judges, chaired by Constitutional Court Justice Harjono.
Soedijarto also said it should not need any international school, but that there needs to be is a national school with international standards not inferior. According to Soedijarto, no country claim to an international standard school, Harvard University did not admit to using the system of international standard."Then, why do we use labels like that? Label that is disturbing, "he explained.
Besides, presented Soedijarto founding fathers (the founders) wanted all Indonesian citizens should have the right as set out in Article 5 paragraph (1) of Act 20/2003 on National Education System (Education Law). However, further Soedijarto, in fact, just such a school was held only for a particular child. "Why did the founding fathers wanted the opening of '... the life of the nation ...', not the origin of all the contents of Indonesia school learning to read, write, and then UN. In the view of founding fathers, all Indonesian citizens should get a case right enshrined in Article 5 paragraph (1) National Education Law, all children should be followed Indonesia Article 5, paragraph (1) National Education Law, but it was held that only certain schools, " he said.
Meanwhile, other Petitioner expert Winarno Soerahmat suggests in fact the term 'international education' is a neutral term. Winarno explain the term does not hurt, nor profitable. But once the term is associated with a concept of life or a living system, it will not be neutral anymore. "He will become one, influenced by elements within the system. It is unfortunate that there are events or important policy in the Education System that allows people give different interpretations. Therefore, the interpretation is associated with a different system, then the question arises as RSBI interpretation is a concept that does not exist in the world except Indonesia and this concept is never associated with the National Education System. In terms of nationalism, the concept is not favorable to the establishment of a national education system, "he explained.
Petition with the Court Registrar registered number 5/PUU-IX/2012 is filed by Andi Fitriyadi Akbar, Nadya Masykuria, Milang Tauhida, Jumono, Lodewijk F. Paat, Bambang Wisudo, and Febri Hendri Antoni Arif. Article 50, paragraph (30 states "the Government and / or local governments hold at least one unit of education at all levels of education to be developed into an international educational unit." Revelation reveals conflict with the State's obligation to the nation.
