Pancasila, Main discussion of Court-IKIP Bojonegoro students Meeting
All students IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro had been to the Constitutional Court (MK), Tuesday (20/3) morning. Investigators received their arrival MK, Fajar Laksono Soeroso, aimed at learning more about the "essence of Pancasila values ââin the Development of Law and Economics Perspective".
"If we see these days of our nation in crisis the concept of nationalism, as a state based on Pancasila. We feel, our nation has not fully understood the values ââof Pancasila. For example, on religious tolerance, instill a sense of humanity toward others and so on, "said Heru Ismaya as leader of the group IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro.
Opened the meeting with the students IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro, Fajar Laksono Soeroso revealed that since the Reformation seems to have rolled the flagging enthusiasm regarding the implementation of the principles of Pancasila.
"Since the 1998 reform was an opportunity democratization of authoritarian regimes that are considered then headed to democracy. We are in transition, "explains Fajar.
Indonesian nation in transition, Fajar continued, it could theoretically be considered deviant and not according to Samuel Huntington's thesis as saying that the transition should not be too long time.
"The transition period should only be between. If the transition period is too long, is already breaking the 'nature'. Said Samuel Huntington, the transition was complete after two elections. In fact, our country has held elections twice, but cannot be said as the country's democratic consolidation. Currently our country is still experiencing a prolonged period of transition, "explained Fajar.
Fajar said to another, the transition to open democratic space is very broad.Along with that there is euphoria in our society during the Reformation, 1998, from a restrictive situation to the period of democratic freedoms.
"The euphoria was later, in applying democracy sometimes even surpasses that of democracy itself. Freedom is regarded as an unlimited freedom. Whereas the values ââof Pancasila provide guidance, guide us how to democracy, "said Fajar.
Fajar further explained the four principles in the people and the nation, according to Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Mahfud MD. The first rule, in the unity and integrity of this country, the government may not create a policy that could potentially break or damage the ideology or territory. The second rule, there should be a balance between democracy and nomocracy. Furthermore, the third rule is the entire policy should lead to the establishment of justice. The fourth rule is the developed religious tolerance. (Nano Tresna Arfana / mh/Yazid.tr)
