Thus the results of consultation meetings followed by seven leaders of institutions of higher state of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), Chairman of the Constitutional Court Mahfud MD, Chairman of the Assembly Taufiq Kiemas, House of Representatives Marzuki Alie, Chairman of DPD Irman Gusman, KY Chairman Eman Suparman and Chairman of State Audit Board Hadi Purnomo, on Thursday (4 / 8) afternoon at the State Palace, Jakarta.
Meeting of leaders of institutions related to the country’s high-Independence Day Celebration on August 17, 2011, with the topic "Reflections Reflections of Independence and Nation Building" at this time. During the meeting discussed the evaluation of the five-year development effort (2009-2014), regarding efforts to increase economic development to improve the welfare of the people, realizing a stable democratic life and human dignity and quality, enforce law and justice for all parties.
President Yudhoyono conveys the result of the meeting is to explain the global economic developments that impact on economic development are in place now. The meeting is also become the arena of evaluation of development results in Indonesia 2011, which reached a number of achievements and some challenges.
On that occasion, the leaders of state high institutions give their views, recommendations, observations related matters in carrying out constitutional duties. Some of the things discussed the meeting, according to the consensus of the leadership of high state institutions, the foremost being the issue of law enforcement and justice.
"Law enforcement and justice should be a priority and become the main agenda of the Indonesian nation," said President SBY.
Therefore, continued the President, the nation Indonesia needs to implement reforms in the field of law for the sake of justice the people of Indonesia. Matters relating to law and justice should be monitored and observed together.
Law enforcement and justice is going to be ‘homework’ for us all, in order to be implemented in earnest. Thus, the law in Indonesia is expected to be enforced and the people of Indonesia will get true justice.
