President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono congratulating Dr. Anwar Usman S.H., M.H. after being sworn in as a Constitutional Justice on Wednesday (6/4) at the State Palace.
Jakarta, MKOnline - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono witnessed as Dr. Anwar Usman swore of his oath as a Constitutional Justice on Wednesday (6/4) at the State Palace, Jakarta. Anwar officially took the place of M. Arsyad Sanusi who resigned on last February 11, 2011. Anwar was sworn of oath based on the Presidential Decree No. 18/P of 2011 dated March 28, 2011.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice President Boediono and his wife Herawati, First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, Chief Justice of The Court Moh. Mahfud MD, Constitutional Justices, Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly Taufiq Kiemas, Speaker of the House of Representatives Marzuki Alie, Ministers of Cabinet, Head of Indonesian Police Timur Pradopo, Secretary General of The Court Janedjri M. Gaffar, Registrar of The Court Kasianur Sidauruk also several officials from the Secretariat General of The Court. As a Constitutional Justice proposed by the Supreme Court, Anwar previously worked as an Appelate Judge at the Appelate Court also held the position of Head of Research and Development Education and Training of Law and Court Body of the Supreme Court from 2006. Anwar also noted to hold positions of a Judge in Atambua District Court, and Lumajang District Court, as a Judicial Judge/Substitute Registrar of the Supreme Court, a Judicial Judge positioned as the Head of Human Resources Bureau of the Suprme Court, also as an Appelate Judge in Jakarta Appelate Court.
Anwar who is the seventh Justice proposed by the Supreme Court was a graduate of Law Faculty of Jakarta Islamic University (1984), Post graduate of Law Magister of STIH IBLAM Jakarta (2001) also a Doctor from School Policy Study of Doctorate Program of Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta (2010) (Lulu Anjarsari/mh/YDJ)
