Bambang Widjojanto and Iskandar Sonhadji as the Attorneys of the Petitioners were listening to the witness statement during the hearing for Substantiation of the Case of Pemilukada Dispute of Merauke Regency on Thursday (02/09) in The Court Plenary Session Room.
Jakarta, MK Online - Vincentius Gidu as the witness presented by the Petitioners in the hearing on the Dispute over the Results of General Election (PHPU) of Regional Head of Merauke Regency stated that the witnesses in Kimaan District did not receive the results of recapitulation in 11 Voting Stations (TPS) on the voting day.
“In 11 Voting Stations. Our witnesses that we sent to each Voting Station went home without bringing the results of recapitulation in the Voting Stations. Out of the three candidates, no one brought the results. So the form C-1 was not there,” he said in the hearing room on Thursday (02/09).
The count process, added Vincentius, was not conducted transparently because they are filled by the District Election Committee (PPD) Head and together with Vote Polling Team (KPPS) head. They did not invite the witnesses of the three candidates to complete the minutes of General Election recapitulation result. “They did it themselves, we were only called to sign the minutes of General Election,” he said.
Meanwhile the other witness, Petrus Machika, testified that the invitation letters were not given to the voters.
“I saw frauds in the Voting Station. First, the invitation cards were not distributed to the voters. Then I saw all KPPS members in the voting room. They forced the voters to pierce number 4,” he explained.
