The trial for regional election in the Constitutional Court filed by candiate pair No. 1 in South Centrral Timor (SCT) Regency Election, Drs. Daniel A. Banunaek, M.A and Drs. Alexander Nakamnu (Damai), through their Legal Counsels, Gustaf Jacob SH, Marsel W. Radja, SH, Bill Nope, SH, and Melkisedek C. Talan, SH began its second trial with Petition Improvement Examination as the agenda, Thursday (27/11), in the Constitutional Court Room.
In the trial, the Petitioner demanded the Constitutional Court to state the Transcript of Proceeding of SCT Regional Election Commission No. 143/KPU-TTS/X/2008 dated 30th of October 2008, about the Annoucement of Elected Candidate Pair of SCT Election is legally void; to state the correct recapitulation result is 65,500 votes or 30.23% for Damai pair also to state the Petitioner as the candidate participant in SCT Election for 2008-2013 period.
After receiving the Improved Petition from the Petitioner, Head of Justice Panel Board Arsyad Sanusi, demanded the Petitioner and Petitionee to prepare their witnesses. âââ¬Ã
âYou are expected to present witnesses who are really relatedd to the examination of the case.âââ¬Ã explained Arsyad.
The trial which lasted only for 5 minutes would be continued on Monday (1/12) scheduled to hear Information from Witnesses also Examination of Physical Evidences from the Petitioner and the Petitionee. (Andhini Sayu Fauzia)
