Diding admitted that he had checked and followed up this problem to the Police as violation in the election process. “As far as I am concerned, the Police have processed this, but until now there are no decisions yet,” explained Diding.

Diding s statement was agreed by AKP Feri Irawan. Feri confirmed that he had received a complaint concerning violation on Article 117 paragraph 4 of Act on Regional Government, done by Dedi Ispahyudi from Karangwareng. ”The case had been brought to the Attorney General Office, but there have been no decisions yet,” explained Feri.

Feri also explained that apart from the case, his party also received complaints on abuse and stabbing as mentioned in the previous trial, Friday (17/11), by one of the witness from the Petitioners side. The perpetrator and the victim was cadres of candidate No. 2 and No. 3; however after the investigation, the problem was not related to the election process.

Related to the information from the two witnesses, Constitutional Justice Maruarar Siahaan advised the witnesses to process the cases related to the election faster, whether it was regional or legislative and presidential election. “These kinds of case have to be fast. Don’t treat them equal with usual criminal case. Hence, when they are brought to the Constitutional Court, these cases have been settled,” he emphasized.
