Pornography Bill had almost been the unpopular topic among the people. It was fair, the Lawmakers who drew up it had no power anymore to realize it to be an Act.

Vice Head of Pornography Bill Special Committee hoped the bill would not be realized until the end of the Lawmakers working period. "The Bill should not be legalized. From the beginning, actually PDIP had rejected the Bill. But we still took a part in the discussion. We could edit the things which are strict and related to syariah," Vice Head of Pornography Bill Special Committee, Agung Sasongko, said.

He mentioned it in the Pornography Bill discussion in the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (4/8/2008).

Agung stated, indeed, politic was full of interests. If an Act considered unrelated with an interest, don’t hope the Bill could easily legalized and become an Act.

"Politic could be black or white. We do not have to wonder if any Bill appear suddenly and we have to discuss it although it did not appear in the National Legislation Program (Prolegnas)," the PDIP politician explained.

Different with the General Election Bill which was legalized fast, Agung stated that Pornography Bill let to be unclear for about 4 years because it did not have any direct relation with politic.

Meanwhile, activist-woman and the book writer Ayu Utami kept on her opinion, rejecting the Bill she usually called the Angel Bill.

"How can the Angel Bill suddenly appear. What kind of meeting it was made in, how can the words like that come," Ayu Utami said.

The words, stated by Ayu Utami were 133 words of sex, 172 words of porn, and 23 words of erotic, etc. which mentioned in the Bill.

"As an artist, we want to show that we are brave to see our weakness”, She said.
