The Constitution Court (MK) conducted a trial on Dispute over State Bodies’ Jurisprudences (SKLN) filed by the Independent Commission for Election (KIP) Southeast Aceh Regency as Petitioner I and Regency Parliament (DPRK) in Southeast Aceh as Petitioner II with KIP in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) Province as petitionee I, Governor of NAD as petitionee II, and President of RI cq. Minister of Domestic Affairs (Mendagri) as petitionee III, Tuesday (11/12), in Plenary Room Constitution Court.

The agenda of the trial was hearing the opinion of the Petionees, hearing the Directly Related Parties and Experts from the Petitioners and the Petitionees.

In the trial that lasts for five hours, the Petitionee read out their information toward the case filed by Petitioners in the previous trial. Of the information given by the Petitionees, the point was to see the case filed byt the Petionees did not fulfill the requirement of subjectum litis and objectum litis. ”The case filed by the petitioners was wrongly addressed. Independent Commission for Election (KIP) Southeast Aceh Regency and Regency Parliament (DPRK) in Southeast Aceh were not considered as parties who fulfill the requirement to be The Petitioners because the authorities were provided by Acts, not by 1945 Constitution,” described Petitionee’s Legal Counsel who based his reasoning on Article 24C the 1945 Constitution, Act No. 24 Year 2003 on Constitution Court, and Constitution Court Code of Conduct No. 08/PMK/2006. 

Besides that, in the trial was also heard the information from Sjeh Ahmadin (Head of Southeast Aceh Regency and Regency Parliament (DPRK) in Southeast Aceh) as the only witness from the Petitioners, the other experts were Ryaas Rasyid and Ferry Mursyidan, also the Legal Counsel of the Related Parties, Hadiningtyas.
