JAKARTA (MKRI) - The Constitutional Court (MK) dismissed the petition filed by Candidate Pair 01 Jeffisa Putra A-Ruben Hehi on the 2024 North Morowali regent election results dispute. This decision was delivered by Chief Justice Suhartoyo in the ruling hearing for Case No. 87/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025, which was held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
“On the petition’s subject matter, [the Court] declares the Petitioners’ petition inadmissible,” said Chief Justice Suhartoyo at the ruling hearing alongside the other eight constitutional justices in the plenary courtroom.
In the Court's consideration, Constitutional Justice Enny Nurbaningsih explained that the Petitioners did not meet the formal requirements of the petition, particularly regarding the petition arguments, which were deemed unclear or vague. As a result, the Respondent's and Related Parties' exceptions were considered legally justified.
"Based on the legal considerations as outlined above, the Court is of the opinion that the Petitioners’ petition is vague. Therefore, other exceptions, the Respondent's response, the statement by the Relevant Party, the statement by Bawaslu, and the petition’s subject matter are not considered further," stated Justice Enny Nurbaningsih.

KPU Denies Alleged Low Voter Turnout in North Morowali Regent Election
At the preliminary hearing on Monday, January 13, 2025, the Petitioners argued that Candidate Pair 02 Delis Julkarson Hehi-Djira K. as incumbents had carried out the inauguration and transfer of state civil apparatus (ASN) within the North Morowali Government, which they claimed to be a violation.
Furthermore, the Petitioners highlighted two things behind low voter turnout. First, the election organizers had allegedly not carried out their duties professionally, as seen in Bunta Village of Petasia Timur District, where only 9,478 out of 21,899 eligible voters had cast their votes at 14 polling stations.
