JAKARTA (MKRI) – Amid preparations for handling disputes in the 2024 Regional Head Election results, the Registrar's Office and the Secretariat-General of the Constitutional Court (MK) hosted the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year Celebration. The event, held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in the Delegation Room of Building 1, carried the theme: "Realizing the Peace of Christ in Resolving Regional Election Disputes."

In his address at the celebration, which was attended by constitutional justices, former justices, and members of the Constitutional Forum, Chief Justice Suhartoyo highlighted the significance of embodying love and tolerance, as taught by Jesus Christ, in daily life.

"I believe these values have been practiced in the Constitutional Court since I joined almost ten years ago," Suhartoyo remarked.

He appreciated the Christian employees' contributions in strengthening collaboration among MK staff and acknowledged their consistency in organizing annual Christmas celebrations.

"On behalf of the MK family, the leadership, the Honorable Justices, officials, and the institution, I extend heartfelt Christmas greetings. May the spirit of love and tolerance inspire us to handle the upcoming cases," he concluded.

The celebration featured a sermon by Father Yos Bintoro and prayers led by Reverend Audy WMR Wuisang. At the conclusion of the event, MK's Christian community extended their generosity by donating gifts to the Kasih Nusantara Orphanage in Bandar Lampung and the Caritas Nursing Home in Bekasi.
