The Case Number 9/PUU-V/2007 for the Judicial Review of Article 58 Sub-Article f of Law Number 32 Year 2004 regarding the Regional Government (Regional Government Law) against the 1945 Constitution was withdrawn by the Petitioner. Afterward, issued a decision on the withdrawal of the petition by the Constitutional Court in Jakarta on May 1, 2007.

The case filed by H. Nur Ismanto, cs was registered in the Registrar’s Office of the Constitutional Court on March 29, 2007. During a hearing held for preliminary examination (13/4), the Panel of Justices had examined the completeness and the clarity of the petition, and also gave advices to the Petitioner to complete and/or revised his petition, especially with regard to the legal standing of the Petitioner.

However, on April 24, 2007, the Petitioner filed for a request for the withdrawal of the Case Number 9/PUU-V/2007 regarding the Petition for Judicial Review Article 58 Sub-Article f of Law Number 32 Year 2004 regarding the Regional Government against the 1945 Constitution. In the hearing held today (1/5), the Petitioner also explained the withdrawal of the petition and it was granted by the Constitutional Court. (Luthfi Widagdo Eddyono)
